We begin by laying a foundation of hardcore (MOT Type 1), a high-quality, compactable material that provides excellent stability and drainage. This layer forms the essential groundwork to support your new lawn and prevent any sinking or unevenness over time.
On top of this, we install a weed suppressant membrane to block weeds from growing through the turf, ensuring a clean and maintenance-free surface.
Finally, we apply a layer of granite dust, which is finely compacted to create a smooth and level surface for the turf. This ensures perfect alignment and a flawless finish, allowing the artificial grass to look natural and perform optimally.
Our precise basework is crucial for a resilient, attractive lawn that stands the test of time. We do not recommend or use timber frames like other companies, even treated timber will rot, when in a damp atmosphere underground.
